Magicote Flat Emulsion is an easy to use flat emulsion paint. This product has been specifically formulated to withstand the harsh tropical weather, and is ideal for inside and outside use.
Berger Magicote Emulsion
AREA OF USE: Interior/ Exterior- new plaster, brickwork, cementrendering, concrete, Asbestos sheets, plaster board,and primed metal surface.Should NOT be used over limeash, oil, bound distemper or effloresing surfaces, unless these are specially treated.
APPLICATION: Brush, roller or sprayFor spray application, thin as necessary with water. First coat on unpainted surface may be thinned withup to 1/2 pint of clean water to the gallon
SPREADING RATE: 4.2 sq. metres / 3.8 litres; 11 sq. metres per litreN.B. Will vary according to the texture of th surface towhich it is applied.
DRYING TIME:8 Touch - 15 minutes Recoat - 1 hour
THINNING/CLEAN UP: Water. Use no more than 250 mil of clean water to the 3.8 litre container. Clean equipment immediately with water.
FINISH: Flat
SURFACE PREPARATION: IRON AND STEEL- Should be thoroughly cleaned toremove all oil, grease rust scale, moisture - ALUMINIUM & ZINC - Should be degreased andtreated with Berger Self Etch Primer.- WOOD - Should be rubbed down with sand paperand all knots and resin pockets treated with two (2)thin coats of Berger Knotting Varnish- CONCRETE &CEMENT- Should be free from loosesand, mortar splashes, efflorescence.
